Kevin is the founding principal of KGK Commercial Real Estate Group. Since 1987, Mr. Kowalski has been involved in the investment property brokerage sector of the commercial real estate business. Today he is recognized as on e of the top investment sales brokers in the marketplace. His deal history includes over $1.44 billion of transaction volume. His production includes some of the most high profile and recognizable investment sales transactions in the nation, with a particular concentration in the Southeast region.
In 1998 and 2001, Kevin was recognized as one of the nations top 10 producing investment sales brokers by NREI. Throughout his career, he has transacted the top producing investment sales deal in his market a total of 4 times and has been recognized as the top producing broker by his firms 9 times.
Mr. Kowalski began his real estate career with Grubb & Ellis in Southfield, Michigan. As a result of the S&L crisis in 1990, Kevin relocated to Tampa, Florida in an attempt to rescue family owned real estate assets from lender foreclosure. After moving to Tampa, Mr. Kowalski became Vice President at Ryon and Associates where he consistently ranked as the firms top producer. In 1999, he served as the Principal and co-founder of Kowalski & King Commercial Real Estate Group.
In 2005, Mr. Kowalski was approached by the principals of the Investment Real Estate Associates (IREA), a Los Angeles based firm. They were interested in establishing a bi-coastal firm. He agreed to relocate to Miami and took full profit and loss responsibility for the Southeast IREA operation. In September of 2008, IREA sold its' Miami office which lead to the union of the Kowalski Team and Colliers.
Mr. Kowalski had the fortunate opportunity to travel the world due to his hockey career as a young man. He was a member of multiple State and National Championship teams and played College Hockey. Furthermore, Kevin was a member of the USA National Team in two World Hockey Tournaments
